…yeah…
March 2, 2009
Yeah, so it’s kind of been a while since I updated.
Forgive me? Please do.
I forgive myself.
RIP Mr Dewberry
February 5, 2009
Today was awful! We found out that Michael (and Katie’s) father died two days ago.
Why is the world so cruel? It isn’t fair! The Dewberrys are a lovely family, and it’s so awful that this happened to them. And apparently it was unexpected, too. I very much like Michael, he’s very kind when he wants to be, and they don’t deserve this.
RIP Mr Dewberry.
…and she’s alive!
February 5, 2009
It’s a miracle! I’m alive! Woot.
And I began to be able to eat some more kinds of food, like Triscuts and such, which is always good and exciting and such.
I’m watching 90210 with my sister. I’ve only ever seen one or two episodes before, the Spring Awakening ones. It’s not terrific, but it’s okay.
La la la la.
Hopefully Brothers and Sisters‘ll be back soon.
HOPEFULLY if ABC gets its act together.
DFTBA, Katie.
A poyson could develop a coyld…or food poisoning.
February 3, 2009
So I may have food poisoning. Which really, really sucks.
I hate this. GAH.
Yesterday I was so sick that I couldn’t keep anything down, not even water and saltines. It was awful.
Now I have to do homework.
Hm. Food poisoning…homework…can’t figure out which is more painful.
DFTBA, Katie.

So, I’m not a huge fan of the 7th/8th grade musicals. But I went to see this year’s tonight anyway. They did “Guys and Dolls,” and one of my favourite people in the world, Ella, is an 8th grader and was one of the leads, playing Adelaide. She was BRILLIANT! I’ve sort of known her, but never really spoke to her because she’s two years younger, until this summer when we did A Midsummer Night’s Dream together. So when she wins a Tony, I’ll be there cheering her on.
The thing as a whole wasn’t great; they never really are, but Ella was awesomeee! She’s so adorable, and TINY, only like, 4’6, and she’s brill. I love her!
So that’s my sphiel. (And Clara, if you read this, tell Grace she was great!! She has a lovely singing voice, like her sister!
)
DFTBA, Katie.
YOU’RE MY SWEETIE-PIE
January 30, 2009
So, I saw this a long bit ago, but I love it so much.
But it’s really sad because, while he may be incredibly adorable (which he is!), he’s got some sort of cancer or kidney disease, so he has to take a lot of steroids which make him look like that.
So that is very, very sad.
Moving on to a happier topic.
Uh. None, really.
So yeah.
DFTBA, happy Friday!
ANOTHER snow day!
January 29, 2009
It was brilliant. I had ANOTHER snow day! Hopefully we’ll have a 2 hour delay tomorrow. Or, better yet, no school at all. I’m really kind of hoping we don’t. I just really, really am into this “lazing-around-not-doing-anything” schtick. It’s pretty swell.
I spent basically all day moving from #130 to #102 on HP Quotes. Amongst other things.
I’ve been kind of getting addicted to lots of songs, though, particularly in the past few days since the ace a capella concert, John Lennon’s “Imagine.” It’s really, really, really brilliant. If you haven’t heard it, you’re a loser.
But you probably HAVE heard it, so.
And something really, really adorable. Something else adorable. And something incredibly hilarious.
I love it.
And there’s a whole host of movies I have to see. “Doubt,” “Slumdog,” “Frost/Nixon,” “Inkheart,” “Benjamin Button” … the list goes on. Plus some old movies, like the second two “Ocean’s” films (okay, I heard they weren’t as good as the first – which was WICKED – but I still am dying to see them!), and “Across the Universe,” which I STILL haven’t seen. GAH!
Lalala. Here’s to at least a 3-day week; hopefully 2 and a bit!
DFTBA, Katie
Thank you, Mother Nature.

We have a snow day.
Thank you, Mother Nature.
I am forever indebted to you.

Snow. (Please?)
January 26, 2009
I really need it to snow. Like, tonight, so we don’t have school tomorrow, because you have no idea how much I need tomorrow off. I’m, firstly, ill, and, secondly, I have to teach a lesson tomorrow, in chemistry, and I haven’t really understood a single darned thing ALL YEAR. GAH. Fudge my life. So I’m listening to Regina Spektor to try and like, calm myself.
Not working so well.
I’m fleeing to a dark corner of my soul.
DFTBA.
